- According to all appearances, the VC 4.00 shell ought to allow for setting up
- development environments other than Win32. I browsed through the Registry and
- found Keys for Platforms, etc which indicates to me that this is possible. On
- a wim, I enter a few new Keys and duplicated the values for the Platform Win32.
- No Dice. The VC 4.00 shell still only offered Win32 as the Platform. Furthermore,
- I know that a MAC 68K Platform is available. Conclusion, I simply do not have the
- Reg keys, so something another, right.
-
- Hitherto, I have cobbled everthing together for the 68K Cross Dev at the DOS-Prompt
- and have run everything via mks rcs for WINNT ( including vi, get, put etc ). I personally
- am an UNIX kernel hacker from yore, but the newbies in the lab grimace whenever they see
- a character based app.
-
- THEREFORE, if there be anyone of your in netter-land who can offer succor and
- solace, I should be most appreciative.
